Verifying settings for a PPPoE connection on a Mac

Click Apple, Control Panels, and TCP/IP

Connect via:  EnterNet

Configure:  Using PPP Server

Name server addr.  1.2.3.4 and 1.0.0.0

Click on Edit and scroll down to User Mode

Click Advanced and OK

Click Options (in main TCP/IP Control Panel)

Make sure Active is selected

Uncheck Load Only When Needed

Click File and select Preferences

Check or Uncheck these at clients' desire

Hit Save

Close the TCP/IP Window and Save

Double click the Enternet 300 icon on the Desktop

 

Connect via: Ethernet

Enter Bellsouth User ID and Password

Hit Connect

Click the Browse the Internet Icon on Desktop to open Internet Explorer
