Installing the Alcatel USB Modem

1.  Open up the CD-ROM
 

2.  Open the Install Wizard

3.  At the introduction page choose the
Alcatel Speed Touch USB

4.  Click Next to continue

5.  Type in the user information on the
 next two screens

6.  Click next to continue

7.  Type in the customers username

8.  Type in the customers password

 If it asks for a Network ID enter:

                     Bellsouth.net

9.  Click next to continue

10.  If this screen shows up, it means the

modem  is already connected to the

computer.  Have the customer disconnect

 the modem.

11.  Click next to continue

12.  Just click next to continue

13.  When this screen comes up, have the

customer plug in the USB modem to their

computer

14.  Click OK

15.  If this screen comes up, the modem

was not properly recognized by the

computer.  Have the customer check

the connection and then click retry.

 Ignore this part if this screen does not

show up.

16.  Now it will install the connection

manager

17.  Click install and just run through

 the installation

18.  After installation is complete

continue to the following screens

19.  Some other screens may come up

to install outlook express or other

 programs but basically you are

 finished.  You will know you are finished

when this screen comes up.

20.  Once setup is complete restart the computer

and create a PPPoA connection.
